Slack:
We now have a War Clan group chat with multiple channels on Slack at https://thewarclan.slack.com/

Slack is group messaging website/app with many useful features. It has free apps for all major phone platforms, as well as a desktop and web app. This has become our primary way of communicating when we aren't on Teamspeak. Whether you want to check it regularly, check it occasionally, or only look at it when someone mentions you in chat, its worth getting to stay in touch. If you would like to join, just send me (or any other member already in Slack) your email address and we will send out an invite.

Latest Games:

This month we have been playing Overwatch and TableTop Simulator.

Overwatch is a class-based team shooter by Blizzard. It's kind of like a mix between TeamFortress 2 and MOBA games like DOTA 2. This is game is fun as hell, whether we are tryharding or playing meme-teams, this game is great to play with a group of friends. TableTop Simulator is a simple physics based game for playing tabletop games with friends. Lately, we have been playing Dungeons and Dragons with Zaifos as our dungeon master. Most of us really have no idea how to play but its been super fun, so feel free to join if you are at all curious.

That's what we have been up to lately. If you are interested in playing with us just pop in Teamspeak. We are in there most nights sooner or later.

As we will soon pass into 2017, I want to announce that we have a bunch of members who have now been in {{WaR}} for 10 years!

Some of you aren't active really anymore, but you still stop by from time to time and I appreciate all of you for keeping in touch. Most of you joined in 2006, when Swar, Lucian, Wick, Kittara, ThuGG, and others got me to resurrect WaR clan. 2006 was the year that WaR clan really became a sucess and set us on a path to continue living another 10 years. CANADIAN HALLOWEEN III

Canadian Halloween is only a week away! Join us on September, 30th 2016 for our 3rd ever Canadian Halloween for a night of games and shitty costumes!

We will be playing the following games:
Halo 5 Forge, Killing Floor 2, and Golf With Friends, and Tabletop Simulator

Make sure you get everything downloaded before the event!

2016 Canadian Halloween Games:

Halo 5: Forge is a FREE game on PC for anyone with Windows 10. This version of the game allows you to play crazy custom games in multiplayer. There are a lot of crazy maps, such as beer pong, pirate boats, etc, that people have created and it's would be a lot of fun to get a group together and play some silly mini-games.

Golf With Your Friends is a mini-golf game with up to 12 people all taking their turns at the same time (so no waiting for other people to go). We're going to play a game with crazy settings with as many people as possible, it should be a lot of fun!

Killing Floor 2 is the sequel to the classic game Killing Floor. It's still in early access so content is limited but its very promising so far. Killing Floor 1 was played heavily by WaR and Killing Floor 2 has replaced it in our tradition.

TableTop Simulator is a simple physics based game for playing tabletop games with friends. We will probably play some random games.
