I'm just throwing this topic up because I haven't seen anyone seen anyone on here speak of it yet and I know WaR did play the first Guild Wars so the question is. Are you looking forward to the game?
I started playing Guildwars in their alpha test, in 2004, and I played heavily and then on and off near the end till 2008. I was excited for Guildwars 2 back in 2008 when the game was dead as is. But now they have just waited far too long. I just don't care about the game anymore sadly. Not to mention they started working on Guildwars 2 in 2006. That's 6 years. The engine they have built the game on is already outdated now before the game has even came out.
ive been keeping up with guild wars 2 beta, and the press beta was last weekend, and there have been zero negative reviews, im still really lookin forward to it. already signed up for beta
also because guild wars 2 is going to be buy the box, play the game and it doesnt have a sub like most big mmos, all the more reason to get it
I signed up for the beta. I never played GW1, but I am looking forward to GW2, especially after the sorry excuse for an MMO that was SWTOR. I hope to see some bros there on launch.

I'm hoping a few of you join me as it is an awesome game so far and having the clan on there might help with A. getting us out of this no post rut and B. We might get some new members from it so i hope to see some of you guys in game.
I am in the beta and I am sick of re downloading the game every two days. So far its just a wow like game for me so probably not gonna buy unless other people do.
There are what is called beta weekend events they start at the end of April (that's when its planned may be sooner may be later depending) and preorder gives you guaranteed entry to them.

What do you mean by WoW clone? I ask because the Original guildwars is very different from traditional MMORPGS/WoW with the way worlds, quests, and dungeons are
When I think of WoW I think of a big open world with monsters spawning over and over, people farming them, doing boring retrieval quests, and dungeons with way too many people to be skillful. Also with so many skills that can be used at any time, thus making it imbalanced as shit.
Guildwars had instanced worlds, some quests in these worlds, and main missions/storylines. Combat was with 8 skills that were locked when entering an instance, max level was 20 so there wasn't much grinding but things still got harder and required some skill as the game progressed.

Hmm thats kinda lame they made it like wow instead of just making it easy to switch like the GW1.
I'd say either Yak's Bend or Eternal Grove
Also do you know where I can get the client furry?
