hicks brought up an idea for the mod a couple weeks ago, its a direction we may want to consider once we have some things done

teams:

Spartans
Athenians
Macedonians/Myrmidons
Trojans
Persians
Greeks (spartans and athenians)

each map would have 3 points, 1 team would have to defend them and retreat back to the others if they fall through, the other team would be the invading army

winner can be decided by points, the defending team automatically starts with 75, everytime a defense area is taken from them they lose 25, also a team gets 1 point for every kill

the teams of each map that are fighting eachother should depend on the map, for instance, the battle of thermopolyae would be a Spartans V Persians map, etc

at the start of each map players will choose there team and then thier player model

Athenian Captain
Athenian Brawler

could contain any 2 teams fighting against 1

we would need a fairly good coder

also we should create a unique fighting style with spears and shields, and we should also make some areas where people can create phalanxes to defend

it uses the roman sword, subclass, with just base anmd offset joints, idk why but when i slice at people it doesnt do any dmg, it jsut goes right threw them, the only time it hits is when it is thrown, its shrunk to .6 drawscale, but i tried making it drawscale 1 and its still doesnt hit ppl

ahh yeah classic boundig box problem here is what u do use a Pygmalion to extract the roman sword skeleton delete the oryginal mesh and material groups meridge that skeleton with your mesh fix the rotation and scale of your mesh to fit the skeleton (or use Animation mode to change the joint position, set keyframe when u done, than ZeroJoint tool to fix the joints rotation) now assigne all vertex to offset joint when u done select base joint and add base keyframe export without useing any tweak file just ignore when exporter ask for it try this and tell me how it works now
