It is called Vikings, Knights, and Samurai. I estimate it to be about 20mb when its done and the whole point is to have 3 teams which are obviously in the title. Its all gunna be original material, not ripped stuff from previous samurai mod or knight mod. Each team will have 2 different classes to choose from, one being a large heavy damage based class and the other being a dexterous class with ranged. I have just finished the first weapon which is a Knight's standard long sword. So far I have 2 people helping me which are Dero and Luca (both are Euros) they are working on some maps. If you are interested in helping I will be glad to find you something to do that fits your skills.

heres just a couple of a few weapons i knows of,

The Zweihander : a large two handed sword, its german name literally means two-handed.
they are known to have large quillions, a ricasso ( the ricasso is a piece of leather that comes right after the guard, you can grasp it to shorten the hilt to perform close combat like stabbing attacks and such), Parier Haken ( german for parrying hooks, these are two little spikes on each side on top of the ricasso, designed to protect your hand if your using the ricasso.)On the sides of the guard there are large rings, well its a very versatile sword and a company known as cold steel manufactures these under the name of Two-handed-greatsword, they even got a great video of them testing its battle ready blade out! i'll post it up when i get the chance.

The GrosseMesser: It's name is german for 'Big Knife' simply because its rather large, but its still smaller than a Kriegsmesser, and like the kriegsmesser, it has a curved thick one edged blade capitalizing on chopping the opponent down.

Kriegsmesser: like the grossemesser above, its one edged bot alot bigger for to handed use, and sometimes there are hand and a half variants.

a good way for a quick kriegs/grossemesser, is to use the dwarven work sword and reskin it and resize it.

Katzbalger: this is a shortsword, typically used by the german mercenaries known as the Landesknecht, who also were famous for using the Zweihander. The Katzbalger's name translation is still disputed, because of the old german language of which it came. it either means cat gutter or cat fight, becuse it s ashortsword and you have to get it close.
he katzbalger consists of a figure eight guard, and a wide short blade.

The Zweihander was employed around late 1300 and saw aboutt he last of it's use in mid 1600.
weapons such as the kriegs and grosse messer around the same period, but lasts longer is they used to be a form of military decoration, so from 1300 to aboot early 1800.
as you can tell and if you know earth's timeline, they are renaiisance era weapons, and thus are Knightly.
as for Viking weaponry, Rune already has all that done for you, although the shields would be alot bigger.

Nope Runes weapons aren't good enough for me, they need to be more detailed

hmm well maybe you could use cold steel's Viking sword as a good basis?
