This game has been getting loads of hype lately, it was made by a single guy, and he has earned over a million from it so far, the game is still in alpha, but you can "prepurchase" it for $10, what this means is you basically get the full game, but its going to get updated more and more as time goes on (and get better). And when the game is done and cost's more you wont have to pay anything.

Anywho. Minecraft is basically Legos, with monsters, and everything. The world is almost infinitly large, and it also generates epic cave systems and whatnot. The graphics are purposely non-intensive, RAM is the real issue, but everyone here should be able to run it.

Essentially you do/build/explore whatever you want in the game.

What we could do:
Make a giant war world, full of houses, manatees, dungeons, etc
Build ridiculous stuff, make a crazy minecart system, make a cattle farm (they have cows in game), etc, we could even get a server and maybe get some new members who knows

Yes i have Minecraft, and i highly recommend buying it. It's fun as hell solo, and even better multiplayer. Get it for $10 now before it goes up to like $25.

I can forsee this game as being WaR next game, we could all get together on a world and build a war kingdom and have all sorts of politics and shit going on IE other war buddies starting rebellions and shit. Could be fun as hell.

Besides the Survival and free build mode, Notch ( the guy who makes Minecraft) is planning on adding an adventure mode where it's like first person perspective Zelda/D&D with lever puzzles inside dungeons and stuff.

I've also made a couple of Minecraft skins, but they're on my other comp, once i get on it i'll post them.

Most of my skins are of Vikings/Knights that type of nature.

THIS GAME IS AWESOME I started playing and was hooked instantly, started building an epic treehouse.

I'm considering to throw out some money on this.
Is it hard to build shit?
Like is it more frustrating than learning how to use anything in Garry's Mod?

building is super easy, you take blocks from the world around you (they go into your inventory) and then you lay them out however you want.

stayed up to 4am tunneling around in this game, found a cavern with a shit load of skeletons in it

did my homework from 4am-5am

TL:DR; Get this game, you will put off the rest of your life for it but its worth it.

It's as easy as placing blocks down on a desired spot.
