It's 100% free to play, But you can get additional skins for your champions for something called Riot Points aka real money.
Also theres a in game money system, that you get every time your playing a game, that you can buy champions & runes for.
Might sound a bit complicated but it's easier then it sounds.

I dedided to show you my latest matches i had during 19-20 as you can see i won 4 and lost 2, And i ended with positive stats in all of my matches.
Notice my low amount of Assists in all of the matches.
And high amount of Killing Blows / Kills.

and this is usually the standard how my Matches look like when im playing.
Unless i roll something Mordekaiser or Shen and end up with 2 of these pages in wins in a row of corpse.

Yea, this is a pretty sweet game. You guys should give it a try, I play it too.

Your never going to find high elo rated players on eu.
and starting over isnt that bad' hey look at me i got 2 lvl 30's on eu
and 1 lvl 30 on US, and another on 29. ^^

They claim Soraka to be a Support? I say otherwise,

Increases surrounding allies' magic resistance by 16

A shower of stars falls from the sky, striking all nearby enemies for magic damage and reducing their magic resistance temporarily.

Soraka blesses a friendly unit, restoring health and increasing armor for a short time.

If cast on an allied champion, restores mana to the target and to Soraka. If cast on an enemy champion, silences them for a few seconds and deals damage.

Soraka fills her allies with hope, instantly restoring health to all friendly champions.

Yeah she's the current best support in the game but meh .__.
